EAST RUTHERFORD -- Not many coaches on the staff of a 6-10 team get head-coaching interviews, but the Giants will look in-house first in their quest to replace Tom Coughlin.
Offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo will interview for the head coaching job later this week, a person with knowledge of the situation told NJ Advance Media.
Defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo will also interview for the position this week, according to Fox Sports' Mike Garafolo.
McAdoo, rumored to be the head-coach-in-waiting when he was hired as the offensive coordinator before the 2014 season, received a recommendation from quarterback Eli Manning on Monday when it was clear Coughlin was stepping down.
