Sanders accepted the invitation to the 2025 East-West Shrine Bowl, but elected to abstain from practices and the game. Instead, he sat for interviews with the teams who are interested in him.
Sanders’ decision to not practice at the Shrine Bowl or throw at the Combine is a strategic one.
