We all know by now that New Jersey governor Chris Christie is a Dallas Cowboys fan.
During an appearance on WFAN, Christie explained why he chose the Cowboys over the Giants.
“Because the Giants were awful,” said Christie, via Giants Wire. “I watched Super Bowl V, I fell in love with Roger Staubach even though they lost the game and I was a Cowboys fan ever since.”
Christie says his father was a Giants fan, which made it easier for him to cheer for Dallas.
Mike Francesa then went on to call him a fair weather fan, which Christie didn’t like.
