Chad Wheeler is now aware of the charges he’ll be facing upon his recent arrest on suspicion of felony domestic violence.
According to Brady Henderson of ESPN, the King County (WA) prosecutor’s office charged Wheeler with first-degree domestic violence assault, domestic violence unlawful imprisonment, and resisting arrest. If he’s convicted, Wheeler could be staring down a prison sentence of 8-12 years.
This past weekend, Wheeler allegedly strangled his girlfriend until she became unconscious after she refused to bow to him. When she regained consciousness, he reportedly was surprised she survived the attack. The victim then escaped to a bathroom where she contacted the police.
