BREAKING: Giants Make Surprising Cuts on Final Day, More to Come

Related Topics: Travis Rudolph

The New York Giants made several uprising cuts on Saturday, including feel good receiver Travis Rudolph.

Saturday at 4 P.M. marks the deadlines for the roster cut-down to 53-men, and the Giants have wasted no time in trimming their roster.

On Friday the Giants cut eight players and have followed up the cut-down with a few surprises.

Big Blue waived rookie wide receiver Travis Rudolph after deciding their receiver corps had enough talent behind Roger Lewis and Tavarras King.

The idea behind cutting Rudoplh wasn't based around his lack of skill, but rather his inability to fill a roster spot with leadership and experience.
