On Sunday, the New York Giants fell to the Green Bay Packers by a score of 31-13 for their eighth consecutive loss. They’re now 2-10, sitting at the bottom of the NFC East division with four regular-season games remaining. With the loss, they’re officially mathematically eliminated from playoff contention.
What’s ironic is the fact that this roster actually has some talent on it. They have an up-and-coming quarterback, some good receivers, a sensational running back, and a versatile tight end, to name a few. Former Giants running back Brandon Jacobs, who won Super Bowls 42 and 46 with the organization, actually believes this team has more talent than either of those title-winning rosters did.
