The New York Giants got some flack for signing running back Devontae Booker to a two-year, $6 million contract earlier in offseason.
It seems like every year teams will have one player break out that they didn’t expect. For the Giants in 2020 it had to be running back Wayne Gallman. This year it could be Booker.
Kristopher Knox of Bleacher Report has written an article naming one player from each team that is their best-kept secret for the upcoming season. For the Giants, he named Booker. Here’s a portion of what he wrote:
A bruising 219-pound inside runner, Booker possesses the physicality needed to wear down defenses late in games and provide a change of pace.
