‘Bomb cyclone’ now affecting Giants’ coaching search

The Giants’ coaching search could not overcome Winter Storm Grayson’s bombogenesis effect Thursday, as the interview set up for Eric Studesville was postponed and rescheduled for early next week.

Studesville’s travel plans were short-circuited by the snow storm. He was the Broncos’ assistant head coach and running backs coach before he was fired last week following the season. Studesville has Giants ties, as he was the running backs coach for Jim Fassel from 2001 through 2003.

The interview process kicked off Wednesday, when Steve Spagnuolo met with co-owner John Mara, newly hired general manager Dave Gettleman and holdover assistant general manager Kevin Abrams.
