Between ghosts and black cats, Mondays at MetLife Stadium are becoming a downright spooky experience.
In the midst of the New York Giants’ Monday night tilt against the Dallas Cowboys, a feline visitor interrupted proceedings with the Giants driving in the latter stages of the second quarter. A black cat waited on the opposite end of the field, hovering by the end zone before entering it, much to the delight of the crowd assembled. The game was briefly paused to allow the cat its time and space to leave the field.
As stadium personnel descending upon the field to apprehend the animal, the cat suddenly displayed flashes of speed, eluding its would-be captors.
