The New York Giants released wide receiver Tavarres King on Monday in order to add linebacker Curtis Grant to their roster.
The hope is that the Giants will be able to bring King back later in the week.
The Giants cut WR Tavarres King to make room for LB Curtis Grant. Expectation is King will be re-signed this week.

The reason King is out and Grant is in, is because Giants’ starting linebacker B.J. Goodson is expected to miss Monday night’s game against the Detroit Lions after suffering a shin injury against the Dallas Cowboys last week.
