With Nick Gates out for the season, Billy Price is going to need to play significantly better if the NY Giants’ offensive line is going to improve
Billy Price got his first start for the NY Giants, since being acquired in a preseason trade with the Cincinnati Bengals, and it did not go well.
In Thursday night’s 30-29 NY Giants loss to the Washington Football Team, Price struggled mightily, especially after Nick Gates was knocked from the game with a gruesome fractured leg.
According to Pro Football Focus, Price was one of the NY Giants’ lowest graded linemen in Week 2:
The Giants offensive line continues to struggle in the Dave Gettleman era, but center Billy Price was particularly problematic versus Washington, losing matchups against Daron Payne and Jonathan Allen to the tune of a 14% pressure rate allowed.
