PITTSFORD, N.Y. – Before Odell Beckham Jr. delivered the head butt, he threw the punch.
The Giants’ wide receiver was suspended for his helmet-to-helmet hit on Panthers cornerback Josh Norman in a game against the Panthers last December. But that wasn’t the first time Beckham ran afoul of the NFL for his temper. In a Week 4 game against the Bills, Beckham threw a punch at safety Duke Williams and was fined $8,681.
“It was a great matchup [last season] and I can’t wait to play against him Saturday,” Williams said after practice Monday at the Bills’ training camp facility.
