Running back Devonta Freeman didn’t play a lot for the New York Giants in 2020 because of his inability to stay healthy. But when he was on the field he helped their offense establish a strong running game without Saquon Barkley.
The Giants just released Freeman last week because of course their season is now over. The good news is that he’s now been signed by the Buffalo Bills, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
With the Bills losing running back Zack Moss against the Indianapolis Colts this past Saturday, they needed to add some depth, so signing Freeman makes a lot of sense for them as they prepare for their next playoff game against the Baltimore Ravens.
