It was a shocker when the New York Giants traded back in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft. It was the first time the team had traded back in over 20 years. The team wouldn’t wait another 20 years to trade back again — they wouldn’t even wait a full 24 hours.
Once the Giants were on the clock at 42nd overall in the second round, it was quickly announced that they would be trading back again, this time with the Miami Dolphins at 50th overall. There the Giants selected Georgia EDGE Azeez Ojulari, hopefully adding some much-needed pass rush to their defense.
