Best bets for Giants-Patriots

The 2019 NFL season is in full swing, and we're here with a betting preview for Thursday's game between the banged-up 2-3 New York Giants and 5-0 New England Patriots from Foxborough.

ESPN betting analysts Preston Johnson and Joe Fortenbaugh along with Fantasy's Mike Clay combine to offer their best bets for the matchup.

New York Giants at New England Patriots (-17, 41)

Daniel Jones under 224.5 passing yards

Fortenbaugh: Forget for a moment that tight end Evan Engram (knee), running backs Saquon Barkley (ankle) and Wayne Gallman (concussion) and wide receiver Sterling Shepard (concussion) will all miss Thursday night's tilt in New England and focus instead on the fact that a legitimate NFL defense in the Minnesota Vikings limited Jones to just 182 passing yards in last Sunday's home loss.
