Bengals Hart learns from New York Giants tenure

At New York Giants training camp last season, Hart famously declared he was the “best” right tackle in the NFL. His boast raised eyebrows around East Rutherford. At the time, general manager Jerry Reese decided to push the chips to the middle of the table. In Year 2 of the ill-fated Ben McAdoo era, Reese stayed status quo with the offensive line.

That decision, more so than anything else, led to the demise of Reese and McAdoo. Hart soon followed the Giants front office out the door in a wholesale turnover.

In 2018, former Hart compatriot Ereck Flowers competes for the starting right tackle position with Big Blue.
