New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin wasn't thrilled with his team's performance in a 23-10 preseason-opening loss to the Cincinnati Bengals on Friday night.
"Our tempo, our rhythm have got to be upgraded. Obviously we had some issues with protection," Coughlin said. "We have a lot of information to sort through. We'll just see where we stand.
"We have a lot of work to do. Long way to go. We didn't play the way I envisioned we would play. That's a good football team."
Coughlin said the Giants will know something about Mykkele Thompson's Achilles injury "later.
