Ben McAdoo’s intricate plan to end brutal Giants meltdowns

BOCA RATON, Fla. — After watching the Giants lose six games by four points or fewer last season, often with agonizingly late collapses, new coach Ben McAdoo plans to do something about it.

McAdoo said Wednesday morning that he is assembling a six-person “game-management team” in hopes of solving the Giants’ run of infamous, late-game breakdowns late in Tom Coughlin’s tenure.

“It’s to make sure we’re on the same page going into the game and that we’re seeing the same things as the game develops,” McAdoo said during the NFC coaches’ breakfast at the NFL owners meetings.
