The Giants are cooperating with the NFL in its investigation of the team’s illegal use of a walkie-talkie to communicate with quarterback Eli Manning from the sideline in Sunday’s game against the Cowboys, coach Ben McAdoo said Friday.
“We’ve touched base with the league. We’re working through it right now,” McAdoo said. “”I don’t have anything to add, but we are working with the league.”
McAdoo declined to elaborate on the incident, which happened in the fourth quarter. It has been reported that McAdoo’s headset briefly malfunctioned, leaving him unable to relay play calls to Manning via the coach-quarterback communication system.
