Ben McAdoo said too much blame was put on Eli Manning for Sunday's loss to the Cowboys.
It was Manning who admitted he lost track of Dallas' timeouts, told Rashad Jennings not to score if the Cowboys allowed him to -- the Cowboys did not do that, it's worth noting -- and threw away an incomplete pass on third-and-goal when taking a sack would have been a more prudent call.
Still, the treatment Manning received in the media this week?
"I don't feel it was just," McAdoo said.
McAdoo would not explain why, but it's clear there was enough blame to go around for the collapse that cost the Giants what would have been a tremendous opening night victory that instead has turned into a weeklong rehashing.
