New York Giants offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo will be interviewing for the Philadelphia Eagles head coach vacancy. Last week, the Eagles announced that Chip Kelly was released – to the great relief of Giants fans – well before what’s commonly known as “Black Monday”, in which a number of coaches lose their jobs. Before yesterday, McAdoo lead the list of candidates to replace Tom Coughlin when he resigned or was fired. Now it seems McAdoo’s future is even more up in the air.
Though McAdoo’s play-calling has come into question, especially in critical junctures in the game – a run on 3rd and 10 in the 4th quarter when you’re down by 8 – his blueprint has been considered a success.
