Among the positives to come out of Sunday night’s 23-16 loss to the Packers at Green Bay was the effort of cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, who played much of the second half after aggravating a groin injury that caused him to miss last Monday night’s loss at Minnesota. Rodgers-Cromartie played 61 of the 80 defensive plays against the Packers.
“I thought it was a gutty performance by DRC, going back out and playing for his teammates,” said Giants head coach Ben McAdoo. “It shows the type of character he has, and I appreciate it personally.”
Rookie cornerback Eli Apple injured his groin and didn’t make it through the second quarter.
