With New York Giants defensive tackle Jay Bromley dealing with a knee injury, head coach Ben McAdoo believes that rookie second round pick Dalvin Tomlinson is ready to step up heading into the regular season.
“He’s a player that’s played at a tremendous level in the college game. He’s come in, he’s learned the system very well. He’s good with his hands, he plays with leverage, he destroys blocks. We feel he’ll be ready to play Week One,” McAdoo said.
Tomlinson is confident in his ability.
“I feel like I’m ready,” Tomlinson said. “I’m up to the challenge.
