The dust has settled after a historic day in Giants history, but there are still many more questions than answers, and this franchise remains on very shaky ground.

The Giants made earth-shattering moves Monday and fired head coach Ben McAdoo and general manager Jerry Reese, and they are going back to Eli Manning as their starting quarterback after a disastrous week following his benching.

But have any of these actions done anything to show Giants co-owner John Mara has firm control on the direction of the team? And does going back to Manning, as ill-conceived as the original plan was, make any sense.
