Baker Mayfield isn’t a fan of Daniel Jones.
In an interview with GQ published on Tuesday morning, the Browns quarterback ripped the Giants for selecting Jones with the No. 6 pick in this year's NFL Draft.
The reason? Jones was 17-19 as a quarterback at Duke.
“Some people overthink it,” Mayfield told GQ in the interview that covered numerous topics. “That’s where people go wrong. They forget you’ve gotta win.”
It’s unclear when Mayfield did the interview with GQ. Jones has been impressive in his two preseason games, completing 16 of 19 passes for 228 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions.
