INDIANAPOLIS — Broadway Baker?
Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield said Friday he would not be intimidated by playing under the New York spotlight if the Jets or Giants draft him.
“I can handle the spotlight just fine,” he said at the NFL Scouting Combine. “I think under pressure is something I thrive on.”
It is hard to imagine anything shaking the confidence of Mayfield, who may be the most polarizing prospect in this year’s draft. Some love him for how he played last season, throwing 43 touchdown passes and getting intercepted just six times on his way to the Heisman Trophy.
