NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Giants wide receiver Golden Tate is said to be appealing a four-game suspension for violating the NFL’s policy on performance-enhancing substances.
He said the whole incident was a part of fertility treatment mix-up, CBSN New York’s Natalie Duddridge reported Monday.

Tate, who racked up 611 receptions, more than 7,200 yards and 38 touchdowns during the first 10 years of his career, won’t be eligible to play in his first game with the Giants until Oct.
