The Top Story
The former Pro Bowl tight end signed a one-year contract with Washington this week. It was Redskins general manager Scot McCloughan who selected Davis as a rookie in the first round of the 2006 NFL Draft. Three seasons ago, Davis had 13 receiving touchdowns for the San Francisco 49ers, but his numbers have dropped dramatically since. Over the last two seasons, Davis has just 640 receiving yards and two touchdowns, including none in all of 2015.
