EAST RUTHERFORD -- Odell Beckham's status for Sunday's season opener at the Cowboys will be in the hands of the Giants' medical staff.
Beckham did not practice Wednesday as he works his way back from an ankle injury, but he did participate in warmups and do some resistance work and jogging on the side. After practice, head coach Ben McAdoo made it clear Beckham will play in the game as long as doctors say he can - even if he does not practice this week.
"He got some treatment," McAdoo said. He's getting in all the work he can get, and we'll see how he progresses.
