A recurring Giant problem could cost Tom Coughlin his job

If you think the Giants couldn’t get out of bed without a season-ending injury the last three years, it’s not just a hunch.

It’s quantified.

Not only was Big Blue the NFL’s most-injured team in 2013 and 2014, according to the current Football Outsiders Almanac, but coach Tom Coughlin’s crew already is off to a strong start in securing that unfortunate crown for a third consecutive year.

For those who haven’t been keeping score, the preseason schedule isn’t even three games old, and the Giants — who went into camp with 90 players — already have 22 sidelined by injury.
