That is not an either/or proposition. As Jerry Reese said during his pre-draft presser, the Giants will draft the best available player, regardless of position. The team’s needs will likely enter into the equation. But, for example, the Giants were 30th in the NFL in run defense and they were fourth in the league with 47 sacks.
