For the second consecutive day, backup offensive lineman Brett Jones took some reps at right guard with the first-team offense. Starter John Jerry took the vast majority of the reps at right guard, but this is a situation that bears monitoring if Jerry continues to struggle.
McAdoo didn't rule out making lineup changes before the season opener.
"You have to do what is best for the team and if you can improve the roster, you improve it," McAdoo said. "If you can improve the starting lineup, you improve it. You never take the easy way out."
