You read that right; the NY Giants didn’t send a single player to represent Big Blue in last year’s Pro Bowl. And as if that wasn’t bad enough, not a single Giants ended up in the top ten in fan voting.
This was the first time since 1996 that the NY Giants didn’t send a single representative to the game.
Some of that probably has to do with how poorly the team played overall, but still, we see great players on mediocre teams make the Pro Bowl every year. For example, even the Cincinnati Bengals and Washington Redskins sent players to the league’s annual All-Star game.
