The Giants have missed the playoffs four straight years, had a losing record the last three seasons, and quarterback Eli Manning is 35. The organization wants to get back to winning and get back to the playoffs now, as it should. But given the roster issues, the first year under their new head coach could see another mediocre record and no trip to the postseason. It would be key for a new guy to weather that storm if it comes.
