PHILADELPHIA -- Three Giants took a knee during the national anthem prior to Sunday's game against the Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field, two days after President Donald Trump's widely-condemned comments attacking the NFL and players who have demonstrated during the anthem.
Giants safety Landon Collins, defensive tackle Damon Harrison and defensive end Olivier Vernon became the first three players with the team to take a knee after former 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick first protested last summer.
The rest of the Giants, as well as coaches and staff, stood on the sideline with their arms locked.
