2019 NFL Supplemental Draft: Will the Giants show interest?

Last year, the New York Giants did something they had done twice since 1977 when they selected Western Michigan cornerback Sam Beal in the third round of the NFL Supplemental Draft.

General Manager Dave Gettleman dances to a different beat than his predecessors, Jerry Reese and Ernie Accorsi, neither of who delved into the July draft for players during their respective tenures. Maybe that’s because their predecessor, George Young, did and got burned. Young used a first round pick on Duke QB Dave Brown in 1992 and two years later he chose CB Tito Wooten of Northeast Louisiana in the fourth round.
