The New York Giants have invested in the wide receiver position in recent seasons, spending a first round pick on uber-star Odell Beckham Jr. and a second-round pick on talented slot receiver Sterling Shepard. In doing so they’ve shown a renovation in thought with regards to the position. Gone are the big-bodied receivers like Plaxico Burress, Hakeem Nicks, Ramses Barden, and Rueben Randle. In their place are smaller, quicker, and more versatile receivers who can get open in a flash and make things happen after the catch.
Miami receiver Stacy Coley is just that kind of player, and could catch the Giants’ eye.
