The New York Giants may have found an answer to the question "who will be the slot cornerback in 2016?" ESPN is reporting Jerraud Powers, a seven-year veteran, will visit the Giants on Thursday.
A 2009 third-round pick by the Indianapolis Colts, Powers spent four years in Indianapolis and the last three with the Arizona Cardinals. He has started 82 of the 87 regular-season games he has played. Powers, 29, had an interception, nine passes defensed, two fumble recoveries and a sack for the Cardinals in 2015.
The Giants replaced Prince Amukamara with Janoris Jenkins.
