The Giants and Cowboys will meet for the 112th time in NFL regular-season history Sunday night.
Pat Shurmur will face the Cowboys as a head coach for the second time, after he lost 23-20 in overtime to counterpart Jason Garrett when he led the Browns into Dallas in 2012.
Shurmur has been with the Eagles and Vikings since then, working his way back to the Giants. Garrett has survived Cowboys owner Jerry Jones' historically quick trigger to become one of the longest-tenured NFL coaches.
"He does a great job," Garrett said of Shurmur.
