The New York Giants second overall pick in the NFL Draft with plenty of needs to address after a 3-13 season. Before finding the players of the future, the Giants need to find a head coach for the present. The Giants fired Ben McAdoo in the middle of the season and are still looking for their next head coach. Defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo took over as the interim head coach during the season, but doesn't seem likely to be the Giants future coach.

Steve Wilks Interview On Tuesday
Carolina Panthers defensive coordinator will travel to New York to interview for the Giants head coaching job, according to ESPN's Josina Anderson.
Wilks is 48 years old and in his first year as a defensive coordinator. The Panthers defense didn't miss a beat with Sean McDermott in Buffalo this year, a credit to Wilks. He's well-regarded in the coaching world, with a background in the secondary. With the Lions likely hiring Patricia, this interview is likely just due to the Rooney Rule.
Belick Leaving the Patriots Is Ridiculous
According to ESPN's Seth Wickersham, New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick was not happy about the Patriots trading quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo. This led to Belichick's name being rumored to leaving and possibly taking the Giants head coaching job.
Belichick was asked at his press conference on Monday if the rumors were true. "Right now my interest is trying to do the best I can for our football team to get ready for Saturday night against Tennessee," Belichick said. "That's where my total focus is."
He was then asked if he plans on coaching the Patriots in 2018. His response was short "absolutely."
Jim Schwartz Scheduling Conflict
Earlier in the week, the Giants submitted a request to interview Philadelphia Eagles defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The Giants and Schwartz couldn't work out an interview, reported by Ralph Vacchiano of SNY. The interview conflict is because the Philadelphia Eagles are still in the playoffs, but once they are eliminated the Giants will talk with Schwartz.
Schwartz is 51 years old with a head coaching career record of 29-51. He spent his five head coaching seasons with the Detroit Lions and even though his record isn't great, he took a 0-16 Lions team and turned them into a 10-6 playoff team in just three seasons.
