The New York Giants might not have star WR Odell Beckham Jr. to open the season. Beckham suffered a sprained ankle in the team's preseason game against the Cleveland Browns and it might cost him a game or two in the regular season.
"It's "not out of the question he could miss a week or two of the regular season," one source told ESPN. He's very unlikely to play in the Giants' final two preseason games. Beckham was injured on a low, but legal, hit from Browns CB Briean Boddy-Calhoun.
An X-Ray during the game against the Browns was negative. Beckham underwent an MRI Tuesday, which confirmed the injury was just a sprain. However, Beckham was "very sore" Tuesday, a worrisome sign for his availability in the season opener.

The Giants play the Dallas Cowboys in the season opener on Sunday night. They then play the Detroit Lions on Monday Night in Week 2. If Beckham can't play, a bigger workload would be required of No. 2 WR Brandon Marshall and No. 3 WR Sterling Shepard.
