Training camp is over for New York Giants and we have a better idea of what the team will look like as the NFL season approaches. Here are three things we learned from the Giants' 2015 training camp.
Injuries Are Still An Issue
The Giants have battled injuries for several straight years, and the 2015 training camp was no exception. The offensive line and safeties in particular were hit hard. Maybe next year the Giants can make through a training camp without major injuries.
Shane Vereen Will Be A Third Down Back
Just like he was with New England, Vereen looks like a dangerous third down back. Expect him to catch plenty of passes and contribute on some running plays as well.
Giants Will Rely On Eli
We probably already knew that the Giants will go as far as Eli Manning will take them. There is a running game, but the Giants need Eli to play well (and throw it to Odell Beckham) to win games. Eli can do that; he just needs to do it consistently for the Giants to make a playoff run.
