The New York Giants are likely to be without starting running back Rashad Jennings once again on Sunday with news that the dynamic tailback is remaining home in New York.
Per Mike Wilkening of NBC's Pro Football Talk, "Rashad Jennings (sprained MCL) isn’t part of the team’s traveling party to Seattle, Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily Newsreported Saturday morning. Jennings was listed as doubtful after limited practices on Thursday and Friday."
With all signs pointing to Jennings being a no-go for Sunday, rookie Andre Williams is likely to get the start in the Pacific Northwest.
The 29-year-old Jennings is in his first season with the New York Giants. He’s carried the ball 91 times for a total of 396 yards and two touchdowns. In addition, he has amassed 11 catches for 109 yards. His versatility has been sorely missed by the offense, and his absence will make Eli Manning and the crew's job that much harder in front of Seattle's much-hyped 12th Man.
