In a chippy game between two teams playing for nothing but pride, the Giants came out on top 37-27.
Turning Point:
The Rams had pulled within seven with 1:44 remaining in the third quarter, but on the very next drive, Eli Manning found Odell Beckham Jr. for an 80-yard bomb. The Rams were able to respond, but the 14-point advantage proved to be more than they could overcome.
Giants MVP:
This hasn't been Eli Manning's best season, but he was excellent today. Manning finished 25/32 for 391 yards, 3 TDs and no interceptions. Odell Beckham Jr. gets some credit as well, but if Manning played like this every week, the Giants wouldn't be 6-9...
Rams MVP:
Despite the loss, this was a solid performance for QB Shaun Hill. Hill was right behind Manning with 290 yards, 2 TDs and 1 INT on 24/32 passing.
Stat of the Day:
Over his last three games, Odell Beckham Jr. has racked up 421 yards and SIX touchdowns. When Victor Cruz comes back next season, this is going to be a very scary receiving corps.
What's Next?
The Giants can build some momentum going into the offseason with a win over Philadelphia next week, while the Rams have a tough road trip to Seattle to end their 2014 season.
