The New York Giants finished the regular season with a 3-13 record, finishing last in the NFC East. As shown by the disappointing season, New York has plenty of holes they need to fill, and the draft is the first step to improving their roster. If you don't know where the Giants are drafting, then check out the current NFL Draft order as of today. Here are three positions of need for the Giants in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft.

1.) Offensive Tackle
The Giants offensive line is one of the worst units in the NFL. Chad Wheeler is a mess at right tackle and despite Ereck Flowers playing better than expected, he may get cut. If the Giants want to keep quarterback Eli Manning upright, they need to upgrade a terrible offensive line. The talent and depth in this year's class is much better than last years offensive line class.
2.) Quarterback
The Giants need to be prepared for life after Manning, and with the second overall pick in the draft, they can pick a franchise quarterback. Manning is 37 years old and on his way out, Geno Smith isn't the answer, and 2017 third-round draft pick Davis Webb is yet to be given a chance to prove himself. Handpicking a quarterback to learn under Manning would be a smart choice.
3.) Running Back
Quality over quantity needs to be emphasized when talking about running backs for the Giants. Orleans Darkwa emerged as the best option but hasn't shown the ability to stay healthy throughout his career and is a free agent. Shane Vereen is a pass-catching running back who is also a free agent. Paul Perkins is dreadful and Wayne Gallman isn't good enough to be an every-down running back. The running back position in this draft class is talented and deep.
