Talk about making a strong first impression: Taty Castellanos scored on his debut for New York City FC back on August 4, 2018, when he knocked in a Jo Inge Berget cross to give his team a 2-1 lead over the Vancouver Whitecaps at Yankee Stadium. Castellanos was in the Starting XI after training with the club for just one week, slotting in at striker for David Villa — who was suspended for refusing to play in the All Star Game. Vancouver went on to score an equalizer in the 87th minute.
