The recent change in the head coaching position for the USMT from Jurgen Klinsmann to Bruce Arena has opened up possibilities and opportunities.
Sean Johnson, the 27-year old number one goalie is now plying his trade for NYCFC. He wants to play at the national level, as well, for the first time since February of 2015, via Mark Booth of nycfc.com.
“I’m a competitor who wants to represent their country at the highest level-to be the guy-it’s definitely a motivating factor,” Johnson explained.
