Adam Buksa, the New England Revolution striker and Poland international, was set to return to full training yesterday after a foot injury sidelined him in early November. According to the Bent Musket, Revolution manager Bruce Arena is optimistic Buksa will play in Tuesday’s MLS Cup Playoff match against New York City FC.
One of New England’s Designated Players, the 25-year-old Buksa led the team with 16 goals in 2021. He didn’t play in the Revolution’s surprising 0-1 loss at home to Inter Miami FC on November 7, when New England managed only three shots on goal.
