It’s not quite silly season just yet. Nonetheless, the first winter transfer rumor pertaining to New York City FC has emerged.
Emanuel Rosu — Romanian football journalist and Ballon D’or juror — has reported that NYCFC have gotten in contact with Romanian club FCSB in effort to procure the services of winger Florinel Coman. The purported transfer fee? €10 million (about $10.97 million USD).
According to FCSB owner Gigi Becali, New York City FC is trying to sign forward Florinel Coman (21) for 10m euros.

For those of you unaware of him, Coman — who is 21 years old — is a star winger in Liga I, Romania’s top flight league.
