The club confirmed just minutes ago that the Boys in Blue will take on the Houston Dynamo at Pratt & Whitney Stadium in Hartford, Connecticut on September 23rd at 3:00pm. The reason? Their landlords, the New York Yankees, had to reschedule a rained-out date for September 25th, which doesn’t allow enough time for stadium staff to switch the playing surface from soccer back to baseball.
All fans with tickets for the match have been given the option to exchange their tickets for another match or receive a refund.
“We’re looking forward to playing there and having our fans come out and support the team in Hartford,” Sporting Director Claudio Reyna said in the club’s official release.
